Luis Henrique strains an adductor before Fiorentina

Luis Henrique has a strained left adductor

Luis Henrique had tests on Friday morning at the Humanitas Institute in Rozzano. The club’s statement says they showed “un risentimento all’adduttore lungo della coscia sinistra” — a strain of the long adductor muscle in the left thigh.

Inter set no return date, and did not say whether he can play on Sunday. The club’s matchday guide lists no suspensions for either team.

Mariani referees, and the gates open two hours before kickoff

The club’s matchday guide names Maurizio Mariani as the referee. Kickoff is 7:30 AM ET, 12:30 CET, in Serie A matchday 8. It is only the second Serie A meeting between these clubs at that hour. The first was a 0–0 draw at the Franchi in April 2012.
