Lautaro Martínez goes third on his own in Argentina's history

Lautaro Martínez, the Inter captain and forward, opened the scoring in the fourth minute at the Monumental on Saturday night. The goalkeeper saved his penalty, and he turned in the rebound with his left foot. He came off at halftime for Tomás Palacios, the Inter defender on loan at Estudiantes.

It was his 42nd goal in 86 games for Argentina, and his fourth in four games. He is now one clear of Sergio Agüero, the former Argentina forward, in third place on his country's all-time list. Only Gabriel Batistuta, with 55 goals, and Lionel Messi, with 125, are ahead. Some Italian papers wrote that he had only drawn level; the club credits Agüero with 41.

Akanji wins again with Switzerland; Sucic is caught in a rout
