Inter's board signs off a €22.7 million profit
Inter's board approved the 2025/26 accounts on Thursday: revenue of €518 million, a net profit of €22.7 million and a second straight year in the black. Tonight Italy open their Nations League campaign against Belgium in Rome, with Nicolò Barella and Francesco Pio Esposito in the squad and a minute's silence for Sandro Mazzola. Ange-Yoan Bonny played 72 minutes as Ivory Coast beat Ghana.

Inter's board signs off a €22.7 million profit
Inter's board approved the draft accounts for 2025/26 on Thursday. Revenue came to €518 million and the net profit to €22.7 million, the second profitable year in a row. Shareholders' equity is positive again at €10.4 million, after a year at minus €12 million.
Revenue is down from €567 million the year before, which carried one-off money from the FIFA Club World Cup and the 2025 Champions League final. Costs fell, commercial revenue grew 7 percent, and refinancing cut finance costs roughly in half. The shareholders vote in mid-October.

Two Nerazzurri in Italy's Nations League opener tonight
Italy play Belgium at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome at 2:45 PM ET, which is 20:45 CEST. It is their Nations League opener. Nicolò Barella, the Inter midfielder, and Francesco Pio Esposito, the Inter forward, are both in the squad picked by Roberto Mancini, the Italy head coach.
The Italian football federation counts it as Italy's 900th international match. Before kickoff there is a minute's silence for Sandro Mazzola, the Inter and Italy forward who died this month, and a tribute to Franco Baresi.

Bonny plays 72 minutes as Ivory Coast beat Ghana
Ange-Yoan Bonny, the Inter forward, started for Ivory Coast in their Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on Thursday and came off in the 72nd minute. Ivory Coast won 2–0 in Bouaké, with goals in the 44th minute and the 58th.
Yann-Aurel Bisseck, the Inter defender, and Aleksandar Stanković, the Inter midfielder, were unused substitutes for Germany and Serbia.

Il Giorno: Inter open renewal talks with Calhanoglu's agent
Il Giorno, a Milan daily, reports that Dario Baccin, Inter's sporting director, meets the agent of Hakan Calhanoğlu, the Inter midfielder, next week. The paper says Inter want two more years and would move him from €6.5 million a season to €4.5 million. Galatasaray and Juventus are watching. (Italian salaries are quoted after tax.)

Corriere dello Sport says Djed Spence, the Inter full back, is almost fit and should rejoin full training on Monday. A first appearance could come against Club Brugge in the Champions League on October 13. Calhanoğlu, out since the Udinese match, is working toward the same night.
